ARUP
I was moving to Texas to work (I'm a healthcare provider) and friends and family gave me a going away party replete with gifts, food, drinks and everything! Everyone knew I had this new SIB hobby and were always on the lookout for nice antique bottles. My brother-in-law didn't quite understand the SIB hobby concept and I was gifted this 'bottle' purchased from an antique store. He didn't know what kind of a bottle it was but thought it would make it easy to get the boat inside! We never laughed so hard! This pic is an internet grab but is exactly like the one gifted to me! DSiemens
That wide opening definitely would make it easy. I can't say I've seen one as wierd as that one though. It's all over the place. RSmith
Chasseur
Oh Well it will make a great bottle to store cut off pieces of wire, wood, plastic etc. DSiemens
Raindog
Are you sure he wasn't taking the Pee? All aboard HMS Urinia! Lord Nelson and Chasseur
Dave Fellingham
Consider building something quick and simple (the molded-in markings spoil the bottle for viewing an intricate model inside) and gifting it back to your brother-in-law. ARUP
HMS Urinia! Glad it wasn't a No.2 bottle! Gotta dress properly for cold and wet with my 'P' coat! Guess it would hold lots of supplies and such! Feel free to post more silly comments... just keep 'em 'clean' or you'll walk the plank!
