Chasseur Posted January 26, 2016 Report Share Posted January 26, 2016 Yesterday 2 more books came for me in the post. The first one entitled Blockade Runners is by Jules Verne. This is one of two-books I have not read published by Verne to my knowledge. I am looking forward to this one as it should help me with the design of my board game Blockade Runners and help me think a bit outside of the box to; add in a bit of flair and fantasy, and make it more exciting to play. The Last Time Around Cape Horn is by William F. Stark forward by Peter Stark. This is the story of the 1949 passage around the Horn by the clipper Pamir from the famous P-Line of clippers out of Germany. These types of books get my blood pumping as rounding the Horn is no easy task and... many a ship have met their demise in these waters. Just another tricky day ...
