Chasseur
Today I received a nice surprise. The facility operator here at work saved me two big burn't bulbs and one small one that was a dud. Definitely candidates for a ship in a light bulb ... Gwyl Blaser
Those look like nice, elegant bulbs. Any idea what you will put in it? Gwyl
Chasseur
Yes, The book Schooner Sunset was a great inspiration to me. I will definitely model some schooners and maybe one warship from the 1812 to 1815 campaign. Life and work right now is extremely busy so I am hoping to get back into the man cave on the Thanksgiving weekend. Will work on the Preussen deck details and the Lone Warrior 1812 models. Will job plan some ideas and candidates for the bulbs. I can see why John Fox III likes light bulbs. The glass is perfectly clear with no blemish! Have to purchase some Muriatic acid in the near future. Jeff
Gwyl Blaser
That will be exciting. As for life getting in the way? I too have had a tough summer and hope to make some SIB progress this fall. I agree that the clarity of light bulbs is hard to beat. The are incredibly constant throughout.
