allan sib Posted January 8, 2022 Report Share Posted January 8, 2022 These are my latest pics on my build log,I decided to go ahead and make the hull of the Islay my second ww2 trawler the reason was that once I have put the sea in the bottle I could then place both hulls in position soften the sea on the radiator and gently press them into position as you can see by my second pic I wrapped the hulls in clingfilm so as to prevent any staining that may occur,and let the sea cool before removing them also its not a good idea trying to press the hulls with all the deck fittings added.
