David,  How do you create the lettering on your ships?

I use my printer for the lettering. I select the smallest font possible,

usually a 6pt or 7pt.

While using the Picasa Photo Imaging Suite I add the text directly ontop

of the photo AND over the exact color of the background of where the

text is going to appear so that when it's printed it matches and blends in

perfectly. After the photo prints I trim as close to the lettering as possible using a #11  X-Acto blade.
