EllaurinsVintage
Hello, I recently acquired this ship in a bottle in an estate sale auction and am trying to learn more about it. It is 4 mast ship (no sails) in front of a village and lighthouse. I have attached pictures, but the patina in the bottle makes for less than clear pictures. The bottle has a greenish tint and was made in a mold (there is a spot where the glass leaked out of the mold at the seam). The bottle has several large air bubbles in it and is likely early 1900s, if not earlier. The makers mark is the letters CMVP arranged around a diamond shape. I have not been able to locate the bottle's makers mark on a US site that I am using, so I am thinking maybe the bottle is European? Any guidance or ideas on its origin are welcome!
