I came across a book series on Amazon and started to see if these books would be worth purchasing. As always I try to get them from the library first to see if they are worth buying. Naval Warfare in the Age of Sail is one of these books. Bernard Ireland does a magnificent job here and the book is lavishly illustrated with pen and ink and glossies throughout each page.
